Lowveld Warthogs hosted Scorpions CC at Triangle Country Club on Sunday 9 April 2017.The away captain Jaya won the toss and chose to bat first.

Just after the toss the match had visitors from Triangle Football club who were preparing for thier Zimbabwe Premier soccer league match against Dynamos.

Man of the match Blessed Muzite scored eighty eight before being dissmised by Joseph Marange. Earlier Nelson Chimbirimbiri had scored a half century. The Scorpions batting line up seemed to be frustrating the Lowveld Warthogs with the team batting forty two overs only eight short from their full innings.

Muzite was starman with the ball scooping four wickets for 25 courtessy of the slow wicket at Triangle. Highest scorer in the Warthogs team was Masaisai with twelve runs.
